PET OF THE MONTH - Tai Tai Russek
Alone, tied to a tree with shoe laces; where did they go? Why did they
leave me? The rain was so cold, I was terrified. There was no food or
water. I was so afraid. My fur was matted down to my skin. It burned and
itched; and I thought I’d be found dead. The dark was so scary; no one
was around. Then the neighbor found me and took me to Dr. Deb. The nurse
looked at me and placed a hand on my head. I was so embarrassed and
looked back with dread. “I don’t want to look like this,” I said to
myself. “Just kill me, I’d rather be dead.” But then the doctor said,
gently patting my head, “Lisa, lets clean her up; see what she needs and
what we can do to help this gently friend.” So I was shaved, bathed, and
fed very well, with a safe night’s sleep and a gentle snuggle. “Maybe I
won’t die after all.” And then Lisa took me home. Oh my gosh, there was
a nice bed, toys, wonderful food, and even kids who seemed to love me so
well! Then Janet (who was moving to Orlando) took me with her and it was
wonderful, I say! I romp and play the whole day away! I smell the
flowers and play in the leaves; and I sleep wherever I please! I’m
queen of the house, I rule the cats, AND THAT’S THE FACTS! So thank you
Lisa and Dr. Deb. I’ll love you forever and ever. Your loyal friend, Tai
Tai
CONGRATULATIONS TAI TAI!
Please don’t mention to Tai Tai that Christmas attire is not fashionable
in the heat of the summer.
